I\u2019ve always had an odd inclination to try unconventional gardening methods. So, when I stumbled upon the concept of aquaponics, I thought, \u201cWhy not?\u201d<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Now, I\u2019m no expert. I\u2019d never even owned a fish before, but my curiosity got the better of me. After a few late-night rabbit holes on YouTube, I dove headfirst into creating my little aquaponics system. I imagined luscious greens sprouting while schools of happy fish swam around. Little did I know, my journey would be far from flawless.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Starting_From_Scratch\"><\/span>Starting From Scratch<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>I\u2019d read somewhere that an aquaponics system needed fish, plants, and the right kind of water.
