There was something special about walking out to that little oasis in my backyard, feeling the soil (well, hydroponic growing medium) under my fingers while the tilapia swam happily, their colors bright and brilliant in the soft sunlight. I realized my idea of a hydroponic rainforest was blossoming deeper than I expected.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>The fragrance of basil filled the air and mingled with the faint smells of fish, creating an oddly comforting aroma.
