So, off I went to the local hardware store to grab some PVC piping and a plastic bin. I\u2019d read a few blog posts and watched some YouTube videos, and thought, \u201cHow hard could it be?\u201d<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>So, I poured the soil-enhanced water into the bin, placed the cypress bench above it, and planted seeds like a kid throwing confetti. Hooray, right? Wrong. One by one, they started floating. \u201cNah, not like this!\u201d I thought. It felt like the universe was laughing at me.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>But there were surprises too. I remember one moment, standing out there among my thwarted tomatoes, hearing birds caw above while feeling the sun warm my back. I laughed at myself and thought, \u201cHey, it doesn\u2019t quite matter if I need to fix fifty things. The smell transformed from that dreadful odor into a subtle woodsy aroma, reminding me of my childhood camping trips.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>And yes, I eventually managed to harvest a handful of tomatoes\u2014fragrant, juicy, and oddly rewarding.
